I cannot get my dvr ms files to auto convert to mpeg. A 40 mb file is created and gbpvrconvert.exe stays at 100percent cpu until i end the process. Even using AutoDVRconvert it does not work. Some error about not being able to connect to pins pops up.

Any ideas?

There may not be much we can do about it, but what is the output of MuxChecker on your machine?

If you can find the ATI Mux, this will give you another option to try (both for recording of for converting from dvr-ms to mpg). A couple of ATSC users that had indicated the ATI Mux worked better for them.

It was actually two separate comments I was making. I was asking why what the output from mux checker was so that I could check that you only had the one Cyberlink mux listed. If you have multiple listed, then it'll use the oldest one.

The other suggestion was that you could try to find the ATI mux and give that a go.

Do you know the file name of the ati mux? And i only have one instance of cyberlink installed

Do you happen to know of a program that installs it?

EDIT: I set for gbpvr to use it..and timeshift is working with it.. so im guessing recording should work too

Sorry, I am aware of that. The next release shows it in MuxChecker.

The first thing you can try is recording with the BDA Multiplexer set to the ATI Mux option.

If that doesnt work and you decide your want to continue recording to DVR-MS, but want to force it to use the ATI Mux during the transcode, then you need to deregister any Cyberlink muxes install on your machine (otherwise GBPVRConvert.exe wont use the ATI one).

Dont be surprised if it doesnt record great ATSC .MPG files. It was really just another option to try.

The other user that had indicated good success with it was doing a DVR-MS to MPG conversion.
