Hi Sub,

with my gbPVR I have 2 channels which I grab via DVB-T EPG Broadcast, but everytime he does this, he recognized new channels in the same bouquet, sometimes with strange names and put them automaticly into the channellist ... maybe it would be nice to select an option where I can handle if he does this or just ignore new found channels.

hope u have an idea to this
thanx in advance

The next release should correct this behaviour for you.

Hi Sub,

I never noticed of the DVB EPG source.

If I have a DVB-S card, will it get an NZ SkyTV EPG?

Cheers,

The easy answer is no, not really. It'll only fetch the DVB EPG listing for channels you're receiving via that DVB device.

It can do that, but its a bit of a round about process to feature channels you're not directly receiving.

... so does that mean no, given that the channels are all encrypted?

You can get listing from it, but you need another machine setup with GB-PVR to do it, so that the enable channel line up doesnt interfere with your real channel lineup. These listings can then be used in your real machine.
