Having trouble configuring GBPVR. When I select "Only show devices on this machine" it only gives me the option of pvr 250 or 350 (neither of which I have). When I ran the device check utility it produced this log file

09:28:45.189 INFO Log started
09:28:45.189 VERBOSE ECP interface found

09:28:45.189 INFO Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture: model 26132
09:28:45.199 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture
09:28:45.199 ERROR Failed to find requested device: Hauppauge PVR150 (instance 2)

Yet when I can use WINTV 2000 without any issues. At least confirming the card is functional.

I've re-installed the drivers from fresh. And GBPVR once. Nothing seems to help.

Any ideas? Thanks

Its worth noting there has been a few occurances of PVR250's sold as a PVR150. Maybe you've got one of these? In which case, GB-PVR is probably detecting it correctly.

Selecting any of the available Hauppage cards listed does not seem to remedy the problem. Infact the config utility becomes unresponsive as I try to confirm settings ( I imagine this is the program becoming hung while trying to confirm the identity of the card). Are there any settings to confirm in windows to confirm the pvr 150 is installed correctly? As I said before it functions within WinTV2000.

You could try posting the output from the prodinfo tool from the Hauppauge website.

Ok, thats definitely a PVR150. I'm suprised GB-PVR doesnt recognise it as such.

Anyway, try setting up a capture source as PVR150, then try to use the live tv function in GB-PVR, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Hope theses are helpful...

Let me know if there is any other information I can provide in order to shed some light on the subject.

Thanks again

Those logs dont show an attempt to access live tv. Can you try again to produce the logs? Please note that the logs are overwritten each time you start GB-PVR, so you need to zip the logs immediately after trying live tv.
