No DVD decoder?

Well, I try to play DVD's and the DVD seems to play but there's no audio. Also, in config, I seem to have no choices for DVD video decoder despite having MPEG2 decoders listed elsewhere and no matter what audio decoder I choose nothing works! What can I try in this case to get it working?

Download DECCHECK from microsoft, try chaning your default decoder to your choice.

I'm assuming you've already installed something like dscaler (free) or the nvidia pure video decoder?

Well I downloaded the Dscaler program, but how do I get that integrated into GBPVR? It doesn't show up in my options yet.

Try using DECCHECK.

Okay, I still can't get Dscaler to show up, but I got the Nvidia decoder and it plays dvd's fine. But, we were talking earlier about general mpeg2 decoders and you recommended the Nvidia decoder so it could use my card's hardware acceleration. Well I checked into it and you should be right, only that decoder eats more processing power! I'm using the Intervideo NonCSS decoder and it's fine, but I'd still like to lay off my CPU a bit. Thanks for your help, though.

You should definatly get 5 m8, in fact i'm pretty sure 4 won't work?

Oh and try chaning to VMR9 or VMR7 when using the nivdia decoder!
