Hi,

I am running windows xp MCE.
I am using a Hauppauge pvr-250 and I'm trying to record DirecTV off a composite connection.
I am able to view Live TV perfectly.

The problem I have is whenever I try to record files, I cannot view them.
I get an unable to render video file. Also the file sizes are way way way too big, about 800mb per minute.

Any help on how to setup the recording is greatly appreciated.

Will

Check you selected the correct card type. This can happen if you select the wrong Hauppauge card type.

Read my post above.

This behaviour happens when you accidentally configure a PVR250 or PVR350, as a PVR150.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs, and I'll take a look.

This is covered in the sticky 'posting support questions' thread.
