Quote:I can click the filename and the video will launch fine.
If I highlight the file name and press the play icon I get the "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
I am aware of this bug, and have fixed it for the next release.

I think your problem is related to one or more of your video library directories. Try removing them, and readd them one at a time to find which one is the problem.

Remove all the video libraries, and just add one that points to c:\, then reproduce the problem, and zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. Given I've not seen this same error entering the video library in any other user's logs, it might worth trying a reinstall... (uninstalled, delete GB-PVR directory, then reinstalled). Hopefully it clear it up.

If not, I'm planning a new release in the next few days, given that a try.

Sub,

After reinstalling, I think I find out why it does that, may be you could take a look into it.

What I did is added a line in the config.xml file:

<Conversion name="TrancodeQ" cmd="transcodeQ.bat" />

and this in turn create the Video library problem. If I remove this line from the conversion section, then is OK. Wired!!!!

I now start the transcode in the postprocess.bat instead.

THX!

Ah, yes that would cause it. It must have been failing when it was reading the list of transcode profiles when the video library is initializing. That line is invalid, so I'm not surprised it spat the dummy - and a prime example of the sort for problems people can cause if they try to edit config.xml and make mistakes.
