Comskip skipping while watching works once, but disables itself if skip points edited

Title says it all really, comskip's auto-skipping (while watching) works once really well, but disables itself if the skip points are edited e.g. What is the design behaviour here?

Comskip works fine when I watch the recording. It skips and all ...BUT if I either:

(a) Manually skip past a pint or especially skip of RR back OR
(b) Manualy edit the comskip generated .txt file in the shows dir

then the black skip sections are all gone when I press the blue button on the remote (or move the mouse cursor over the window). How do you re-enable this?

Its only supposed to automatically skip each point once. After that these points wont be skipped again. This is so that if comskip got it wrong, then you're able to skip back and watch that section without GB-PVR trying to autoskip it again.

Are you editing the file while it is playing? If so, then dont. Its not supposed to cope with this.

OK, I understand that and skip for that very reason. However would it be possible to have a re-enable comskip switch in case you happen to go back accidentally as it appears to disable it for the remainder of the show?

Are you editing the file while it is playing? If so, then don't. Its not supposed to cope with this.

Nope. But after it played, I edited then trie it again and the bars were gone. I tried this again just now and it worked, so I don't know what happened.
