New install - Sound but no video/ .net errors

I've upgraded to a new PC and am having probs getting GBPVR up and running again.

System is a clean install of WinXP pro, updated and patched. Nero 7 Ultra (mpeg codec), Latest GBPVR. (PVR-150 card)

I'm getting an error in the event log of a conflict between gbpvrrecordingservice.exe and .NET with the net result that I get audio but no video.

If I select Live TV then the screen is black, if I go from the TV Guide, then I have the TV Guide screen with audio.

I've tried all 4 of the playback options Overlay/VMR7/VMR9?VMR9 custom.

A recording looks fine in Win media player.


Anyone have any ideas on what I could try?

Reproduce the live tv error, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

It doesnt seem to be able to find a compatible MPEG2 decoder on your machine - dont use the Nero ones, they nothing but trouble.
