That's what I was assuming, just wanted your opinion.

Its not a separate list, but rather a field associated with existing recordings. Its only considered a duplicate if you already have a recording (pending or ready) with the specific unique ID.

So if I record a show and then delete it and the same show is on a couple days after that it will get recorded again, assuming I have set it to record all episodes on that channel? I know you are swamped with everything you do but maybe something could be added to retain the show name and unique identifier (selectable in config app). I know this would cause the database to grow but for that I'd be willing to give up the space.
It's not a big deal, just wondering how this works down to that level.

TVGuideSupercharger looks good but honestly that much info on the screen will tank the WAF.

The little star that indicates a show is new, or the movie date and ratings in the title?
Keep in mind the wiki image is a composite describing several features, not what you see on the screen. And you can turn off all the enhancements except the “new” indicator if you want.

RecTracker allows you to keep and manage a separate database for avoiding dupes.
But it will only be a "new" show for one day, using I-xmltv.
