Automatically logging in to XP

Nothing to do with GBPVR really, but when I setup XP it didnt have a password and the machine logged straight in with no problems.
I also use the machine for other tasks and need to share folders/remote access.
When I remote accessed the machine it wouldn't do so without a password setup on the account, so i had to create one.
Is there a way to set the machine up so that it can automatically boot without prompting for a password, but also satisfy the security constraint around remote access ?

yep there is a way, if I remember correctly; click start-> run and type
control userpasswords2, it gives you the option to automaticly log in to one of the existing user accounts.

If an account has no password you cannot remote into it w/ that account.
