my pictures - standard plugin

im not sure if this is a bug or what - but i have my htpc setup with a mapped drive to my laptop where all my pictures are kept - i setup the folder in GBPVR to look at this mapped drive and on the HTPC all is ok - but on my MVP i get errors that it couldnt connect to the drive - i tried using the \\laptop\c$ path to the pics but same issue - is there a way around this or am i screwed for viewing remote pics ?

The MVP runs under a different user account, which doesnt have the drive mappings you've made. You should be able to browse to a network share (via network neighbourhood) when you add a directory. This should add a UNC style path \\laptop\pictures. I'd avoid trying to use an administrative share like c$ - permissions are probably tripping you up here.

Remeber the MVP is running under the machine's localsystem account, so it wont have the same permissions when you try the same thing on your desktop.
