This may be a newbie question, but how do I prevent apps like Norton Antivirus from taking the focus away from GBPVR? I have a dedicated HTPC and run tiny VNC from my office machine to do updates and maintenace; every now and then, I sit down to watch and realize GBPVR no longer has focus, so I either have to have a mouse and keyboard attached or walk into the other room, log in thru tiny VNC to fox it.

Thanks,
murph.

PS - let me know if this has been covered in another post somewhere, I couldn't find it.

I have this problem when playing avi files (divx) and I get around it by hitting the menu button on my hauppauge remote. This invokes the alt+tab screen and resets focus back to gbpvr.

Okay, I have another question. This is true when only one window is open. But when it invokes Alt+Tab and there is more than one window open, then you have to choose. Is there any other way to do it with a Hauppauge remote? (i.e. associate key combos or programs with buttons on the remote)

if you're referring to the divx 6 osd/popup whatever there is a way to turn it off, i read it in their forum, cant remember where exactly but should be easy enough to find.

if you've got a hauppauge remote add the line
GRNPOWER={run(c:\progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe)}
to the [default] section or irremote.ini. As GBPVR only allows 1 instance running you can launch the program with the green button, but if its alreay running it will just bring it back into focus
