This is weird, seems common enough but I don't seem to exhibit the same problems as the other folks I've searched on the forum.

I can view Live TV great from either my analog source (PVR-500) or my ATSC source (AVerTVHD A180).

I can view recorded video from either source just fine.

I can view recordING video (accessed via Pending Recordings menu) great from either source.

I can pause Live TV and enter timeshift mode on the PVR-500.

I can NOT pause Live TV and enter timeshift mode on the A180. When I try to do so I get the old "Object reference missing..." popup and get dumped to the GB-PVR root menu.

FWIW I am using the native M$ BDA driver and mux.

Is there something obvious I can try, if not which logs should I concentrate on?

Thanks!

Your logs look like you've got a capture source configured to use a Hauppauge PVR card, but the drivers for it arnt found in your machine.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Run the attached utility, and zip and attach the filtercheck.log it produces.

I hate to dump a fat load of logs on you for these kinds of oddball errors. Can I decrease your load by prescreening the logs first? Which are involved in timeshifting?

Danke!

Its probably just easier if you zip and attach a complete set. The error could be in one of a few places.

There seems to be something broken with your installed drivers. One of filters either doesnt load or doesnt have any pins.

The filter check utility had a problem with the same filter as GB-PVR did in the logs you provided above. ("Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II TvTuner" for the first device).

Each device has a collection of filters, each with a number of pins.

CAPTURE Filters, all good:

CROSSBAR filters, also all good:

TV Tuner Filters....Something wrong here (no pins listed):
09:49:25.812 INFO found: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II TvTuner

09:49:25.812 INFO found: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II TvTuner

09:49:25.828 INFO - (output) Analog Audio
09:49:25.828 INFO - (output) FM Audio

This filter either refuses to load, or has no pins. Your best bet is probably to uninstall your Hauppauge drivers, run their hcwclear utility, then reinstall the drivers.
