Couple of little bug fixes as pointed out by HtV and tkgafs.

On the wiki as always: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/MusicLibrary2

Previous threads for previous versions have been closed.

Changes:
29-Oct-2006 - Version 4.3
  • Fixed playlist deletion while playing - now doesn't always restart the track if it doesn't need to.
  • Fixed error when hitting replay (ctrl-d) in navigation screens it would return to the top
  • Fixed error where only the seconds portion of a song was going into the db, not the full actual length.
  • Delete a character on the remote text entry is from the Ctrl-W command - which is the Hauppauge 45 key remote prev channel command.

Oh, before I forget - to fix this error:
  • Fixed error where only the seconds portion of a song was going into the db, not the full actual length.
You will probably need to start the config app, nuke the library and re-scan it.

So it picks up the correct length of all the tracks.

Hi psycik,

I was working my way up through the today-posts, I wanted to answer your question about something happening on mvp or on the server, when I noticed you closed down the thread. Why would he do that?:o It's still quite early forme (after a late night Wink ). Then I saw the new ML2 4.3 thread a few lines up Big Grin .
Looks great I'll test it, thanks a lot again.

cya Hans

Edit: To answer your question in the other thread: this was all on the mvp.

yeah I thought that is the easiest way of keeping track of the releases and posts.....but from now on I'll actually put a message in the old thread before closing it...

Are you mostly MVP based as well?? I know tkgafs is...

it just means before I put out a release that i should test the mvp a lot more than I do - this time I did a lot of testing for the MVP, I figured out a nice easy eay to do it.

Hi there,

To answer your last question first: yes I use the mvp mostly, I can play everything on the server but I hardly ever do.

Deleting a song from the playlist works fine now.
The times are shown correctly now I think.
The random function still exaggerates a bit, it now makes a playlist of ~100 songs (before that would be over 200).
As I said before: great jobBig Grin

I was digging in my EWA-troubles (other thread), I noticed a few ML2 errors in the EWA log. Do they mean anything to you. The second log is after I removed the musicpanel.
Btw did you read my musicpanel notes yesterday?:

Quote:
I noticed for the first time the ML2panel in the plugin-list in gbpvr-config. Was it always there? :o
However when I enable it, it screws up the main menu. When I go down the main menu, when I come to the place where ML2panel should be (according to the list in config) the menu completely disappears, only leaving the blue background behind.

Yes since 3.12 - but only to the ML2Panel - to add CUE Track information.

I jumped from 3.12 to version 4, might start doing a sub type numbering scheme - each release (add new feature etc) increase the major number, then little fixes etc just update the minor. - i.e. I've had 3 sub releases on this version.

HtV, yeah i did, sorry i didn't reply....yeah it has been there since early version 3 somewhere, but something in the later versions of GBPVR make it show up now. You can deactivate it in the config app and it shouldnt show up.

What skin are you on HtV?? If i select the Ml2Panel on my main menu it just goes black screen with the gbpvr logo and the time (i.e. the screen saver starts).

Umm, yeah those errors don't seem to affect anything, they are from the startup somewhere, normally when the config app is starting - strange that it appears on your EWA, unless ewa "starts" gbpvr and therefore all the plugins.

It's annoying, but nothing to worry about.
