Howdy all, I haven't used GBPVR in about 18 months and I re-installed it last night and frankly I am in awe of how far things have come since I first tried it out back in '04. Fwiw I had not one issue with install and set-up - it was very smooth and bug-free.

The main reason I haven't used it to be honest is I got a lifetime tivo back then - I have three at the moment (only one lifetime) but will be dropping one soon. I also use the home network option & store some tivo files on my htpc.

That htpc is also the system that I use for GB-PVR.

As some of you will know you can now transfer MPG videos from your tivo server up to your Tivos - and this morning I did just that with a couple programs I recorded using GB-PVR. Worked excellent with one hitch.

Tivo likes the video files to be in one directory.

GB-PVR seems to want to create subfolders for each show and TIVO can't see those.

Is there a work-around to forrce GB-PVR not to organize things in subfolders (I am thinking there might not be). Or, does anyone know if there is a way to tell TIVO to look at more directories (this might be better asked at a Tivo site and I will if I need to)?

Thanks in advance and I was so happy to see the site still up and running - I made a small donation way back in '04 to Sub and I will be making another soon - this software is truely amazing for being 'free.'

under misc tab of config screen, uncheck the auto create folder. I have not use it but it might be what you are looking for.
