ok gys, I have been busy the last few weeks, so i have not had any chance to do any skinning, I am working on music library 2 right now.

... ok guys, here is my little improvement on the default search plugin, I made a custom image with 3 panels so it is not all distorted. let me know how you like it.


dottore, on a side note, I am wondering how you want me to post my full skin in red, do you want all of the source files? or should I just zip the whole thing and put it on the forums?

ok, back again!

i made my exams, now i am ready to go on with sassari and nuoro. thans, ted, for your changes!
i would like you to post an installer (use nsis) to the wiki-page of sassari, so the users can download the red version. just include the skin-files, no sources.

i will add your changes to sassari and nuoro these days and post a newer version on the wiki.

yeah, I will do my best to send them tonight. I will send you everything that I have done with them. I broke out a few parts to make them easier to modify.

I am glad to help, I just wish other people would make a post here once in a while, but I guess no news is good news, as it means I didnt mess anything up.

I could not figure out for the life of me how to do the clipping mask properly on the modification I did of the panel with the diagonal lines. it does not seem to like opacity, I could get it to work fine with solid black blocks in the background, but it just didnt work at all with the transparent white ones.

I dont know how long it will take me to to a full skin, because MusicLibrary2 is being a huge pain to skin, with its 8 billion screens. but I might just leave it out and get it up there quicker.

Last night I was messing with the skin, I managed to get the channel icons in my TV guide to appear non-distorted. and did it by adding two more channels to the screen, kinda hacked the background for the guide to get it to look ok, but I really need to edit it in photoshop (whenever I get my main computer back up) to get it to look perfect.

i have uploaded a new version of sassari. it includes ted's my programs - skin and the changes to the search-screen. thanks for the work!

i tweaked the osd. i think it looks much better now. i always had problems with overlay mode and this skin, now those problems are gone. you can have a transparent version of the osd vor vmr by changing the osd-transparency-settings in config.xml.

i also added the new volume-osd.

download as ever from the wiki. enjoy!

edit: i forgot to mention: there is no installer in this version. i have lost my nsis - script. just unpack it all in the skin-folder (make sure you have Segoe UI installed)

dottore, I understand being busy:p I just use posting on GB-PVR as a release/way to get my mind off of some annoying problem for a little bit

I think you might have seen the thread that involved the OSD in VMR9 Custom, where there was blue magically added to the OSD (you know, big problem for me with my red skin) :p I have not looked at your new versions, but if you made the OSD opaque that would probably fix that problem, it was going to be my next step to try to figure out a way to perfect my red sassari. along with that tweaking, did you get all the buttons to be in the center of the lower OSD?

I have no way of editing PSD files right now, because my main rig died as well. but I <3 my file server, because everything is backed up and still accessible from my other computers. I will give the email another shot (I honestly thought I sent them to you last time, I remember having issues with the attachment size, but I thought I got one to go through). I will post them on a webpage I have some access to if email fails again, but they cant stay there long, the site isnt exactly under my control anymore:p

So I am usng this skin, bd all generally eem fine, however, when I click the TV guide, I get an error. when I cancel the error, then click guide again, it works fine.

Any ideas?
