2 x Hauppauge WinTV PVR-500

Hi

I have 2 Hauppauge WinTV PVR-500 in my machine but can only get one of the card to work. One of the card is with FM radio and the sec. card is with out FM radio. GBPVR can see both card. What am i doing wrong.

Did you set the device numbers appropriately? ie device #1, #2, #3 and #4?

Yes i did. I did all so use DeviceTypeDetect and sees 4 devices. Device 1# is PVR500 with FM, Device 2# is PVR500, Device 3# is PVR500 with FM, Device 4# is PVR500. I have tryed to only have one PVR500 in the PC but now can i only record 1 program and 2.

Reproduce a problem with four recordings at the same time, then zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log.

Got it to work late last night. You have to run the EPG first. It tells you how many channels you have, then you pres Ok. Open the config again, goto Capture Sources to add the various Tuner Cards, use DeviceTypeDetect to see which Tuner is Device #1/2/3/4. Then you press Ok. Open the config again goto Capture Sources/Edit and press Update EPG now all you channels is put in the Tuner Card but with the wrong frequency. This can be writen in on different channels. This has to be done with all the Tuner Cards. You can now goto fan Channels and see that all you cannels is from 1 to ?. All is now up and running.
