Hi
I've installed yesterday the last version of GBPVR after more than 1 year without using my mediaMVP. The server PC was also a clean install, with .NET 2.0 and Haupauge mediaMVP software installed but services disabled.
Everything went much more stable than 1 year ago, I was able to view divx files on my tv, I was amazed with the progress, 1 year ago even for mpeg files the mediaMVP was always reconecting to the server. And also web radios working without any reconnection, for hours! But still have one problem :-(
When I try to play MP3 files it reconnects to the server. After looking to the logs in the server, I found this is related with mp3 files that have foreign characters in the name (not ASCII 0-127). It seems that the 'translation' between GBPVR and the request from mediaMVP has some problem with foreign characters. Is there any setting that can be changed to support this characters? I am portuguese, so I have lots of files with these kind of characters ;-)
Thenks for your help!
Best regards
Fernando
