Ive had this problem with the two most recent GB-PVR releases. When I schedule a show to record...
"record season (all in this daily time slot, this channel)"
I dont see more than one instance of the show under pending recordings. Even though no shows, beyond the first, appear under "pending", the shows still appear under "reoccuring" and the settings listed are correct. I have tried the following...
1) deleting all pending and reoccuring shows and starting with a clean slate in case something i hadnt noticed was conflicting. With no recording jobs scheduled I tried again and still had the same problem.
2) I just installed the version ( 09707 )-- no difference.

I dont have this problem with all shows. With some other shows everything works fine and as soon as I've scheduled the reoccuring season recording I can go straight to the pending list and see all of the upcoming episodes ready to go. Certain shows always schedule perfectly. Certain other shows NEVER schedule correctly. I have been recording the problem shows by scheduling them one at a time - bit of a hassle.

I uninstalled the new gb-pvr version cleaned the registry and reinstalled starting from square one on every setting. The problem remains...certain shows wont accept a season recording others will. The same shows that worked before my reinstall are working with the new install and the ones that didnt work before still dont. So im wondering if there is a recording plug-in that might override the standard system? Is this a problem with my EPG(zap2it)? Does anyone have any ideas on what i should try next? Have i provided enough info on my problem ?
thanks

Sorry about the dumb question on where to put it. It works now . I shut down the front and back end moved the old DLL out and the new one in. When i restarted the machine the recordings hadnt magically fixed themselves so i deleted all reccuring and pending recordings until the que was empty. Starting from scratch every recording has scheduled PERFECTLY! both recurring and single instance shows are now in the que out to the end of the EPG's date range.
Thank you so much , max

It was only problem that related to specific shows on zap2it. Namely those that had a show identifier that ended in four zeros '0000'.

I'm having this same problem but I use version 0.98.13b, when I add a reoccurring all season just one or none record are added to the pending, I try the patch suggested here but I think is for an older version because gbpvr nos start with the patch.

Any help?

You wont need that patch (and it would be incompatible anyway).

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach a set of logs and details about what you were trying to recording, and when the episodes it should have pick up were.

ok I attached the logs but its look interesting is gbpvr.exe-1.log that contains this line:

04/12/2006 12:54:08 p.m..562 VERBOSE [1] Found potential match at 06/12/2006 11:00:00 a.m. (SHG017577837)
04/12/2006 12:54:08 p.m..562 VERBOSE [1] - skipping episode because a schedule recording already matches this episode: SHG017577837

the show add only the first occurring in the guide, but not the followings, and this show is everyday at 11:00am.

To add the recording a select in the guide and set recording season .

thank for your help
