Ok,
It was my error then. I did not try to change the decoder in this section.
Forcing the Cyberlink one fixed the problem... but gave me another one!
If I use the built-in Dvd navigator, I can start the movie, go back to the menu, etc. But one I play any command button (play, skip, pause, etc.) then the remote stop working.
If I use the Cyberlink dvd navigator, the remote don't work at all.
I am using a Mce 2005 remote with original Windows Drivers. I do not use the special drivers (which need Hip to works) becaus I lose the control when I go in "Live Tv" mode.
I have updated to the lates build of PowerDvd 5.0
I set the cyberlink codec for Dvd
InterVideo one for the "player" section (seems to be faster, but lower quality)
I selected the default dvd navigator.
The remote works everywhere
In a dvd, everything is ok, except that I don't see my selection in the Dvd menu, but I can always change my language/subtitle with "My Music" and "My Tv" button.
Subtitle don't show at all, but I don't care.
Set the F7 key to one button on the remote, so I can swith the video settings for Dvd/Live Tv.
One common problem to be aware of, is these older versions of the Cyberlink decoder were not compatible with VMR be default. If you do a google for 'Cyberlink EnableVMR9', then you'll find some details about the registry setting to add.
