Hauppauge! DEC-2000T / GB-PVR.

Does anyone know whether or not a Hauppauge! DEC-2000T is compatible with GB-PVR?.

I dont think Hauppauge have BDA drivers for this device, so no this is not compatible with GB-PVR.

I got my DEC2000t to work with GBPVR using the external recorder plug-in (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugi...alRecorder) and some batch files, it was not pretty but it worked fairly well. The biggest problem was the general unreliability of the DEC s/w itself.

I used it for several months before the USB port on the DEC died a few weeks ago. If you are interested I will dig out the files for your.

Thank you for your reply. Apologies for not responding to your reply sooner did not realise that there was a response on this thread (couldn't have subscribed ). Glad to hear that you'd managed to get GB-PVR to work with a DEC-2000T. Whilst Sub has confirmed that there are no BDA drivers available for this device if you could advise how you went about setting your DEC-2000T up using the external recorder plug-in that'd be appreciated.
