Don't know if anyone can help, but....have built a new pc (asus P5B mobo, core duo 2 E6600, nVidia 7600GS, 2Gig ram) and want to watch live tv on it. Problem is sound is approx. 1 sec before picture.

I am a long term user of GBPVR (don't normally watch on tv, use mvp) and have been using cyberlink MpgMux.ax 5.0.0.813. Guessing it could have something to do with this mux. Have updated to a different cyberlink mux PGMpgMux.ax 5.0.0.2221 which came with trial version of cyberlink dvdsuite. No difference.

Can switch to timeshift mode to get av sync ok, but very annoying to have to do this.

The mux filter is only used when you're recording, or in timeshift mode. In this case I'm guessing the sync issue relates to the combination of audio/video decoder you're using. Try switch to different decoders.

Hi Sub, Thanks for your reply.......
I have tried (all ?) combinations of Video Decoder, Audio Decoder and Audio Renderer without success. Always a big av sync problem.

For Video decoder I have; Sys default, Intervideo NonCSS Video Decoder, Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder and Nero Video Decoder.

For Audio Decoder I have: System Default, MPEG Audio Decoder, Cyberlink Audi Decoder, Intervideo NonCSS Audio Decoder, Nero Digital Audio Decoder.

For the Audio Renderer I have: System Default, SoundMAX HD Audio, Cyberlink Audio Renderer (PDVD..., Default DirectSound Device, Default WaveOut Device, DirectSound: SoundMAX HD Audio.

I guess you can't say which of the above should work, but any suggestions? Do they look OK?

Where do the decoders, renderers come from? I guess they aren't from GBPVR, they are from other programs - nero for instance.

What is the difference between the audio decoder and renderer?

PS. I installed the latest hauppauge winTV2000 on my pc to see if it worked OK. This is the 5th gbpvr pc I have played with and in the past it has fixed gbpvr audio/video problems - not sure how. For the first time the winTV app audio/video was badly out of sync. It normally works OK. Looks like I'm on to a looser.
