Honestly, I cant see that one line change between those two versions of GBPVRPsiParser.ax causing this stuttering. The change would only affect HDTV channels (with AC3 audio), and only once just after changing channels.
To check if its happening in the multidec layer and/or Agarwal's wrapper, it might be worth disabling the multidec support, and trying a free to air unencrypted channel to see if you have the same problem.
What card are you using? diseqc support is not part of the BDA standard, and only works with a very limited number of devices. If you dont have a diseqc switch, leave it set to none.

when I scan, setting DiseqC to none or A, i get a few channels. all come up as unknown. the epg does not get updated, but I can watch these channels in gbpvr, so its a start.

Yes I will put my results here as soon as I try dish network. Also my setting is pretty simple right now. no diseqc switch but might add it later on to get dish and bev on same cable.

thats ok twinhan cards don't give that info.. i tried hauppauge nova s plus and it did give me that info but I got same results. So nothing wrong with twinhan 102g.
