first, I am VERY happy the resume feature now works in the client "file sharing" mode.
the shows also seem to start up faster in this release too.

but for some reason I cannot delete the shows anymore from the client.

I see this, too in the Video Library. It asks me if I want to delete, I say yes, and it doesn't delete.

Thanks, sub. Any chance this could end up as a patch?

Unfortunately think my versions of the files in involved with this are no longer compatible with v0.99.5, so not possible to do a patch.

Thanks.

May I ask when the next release might be? Smile

I think I figured mine out.
sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didnt.

looking at web logs (for the website hosted on the server) and other things, I decided it depends on how busy the server is.

if it is transcoding 3 shows it wont delete from client.
it also wouldnt work during a denial of service attack on the website.

Interesting. In my case, it doesn't matter how busy it is, it never deletes.

Thanks, sub.

I don't know if this helps, but on further inspection, it seems that it does in fact delete, but it takes a while. In other words, I tried to delete, nothing appeared to happen. But then later (several hours) I went back in to that folder, and the file was gone.

I might have restarted GBPVR during that time, I'm not sure. But it does seem like there is a delay there. So maybe it's just that the UI isn't updating?
