sub Wrote:If you do manage to get a bigger transport file, let me know the URL and I'll take another look. Ashwin - I am having trouble locking any of the tranponder on echostar to get the trasport stream for sub to debug. could u try? You'd need to use the Twinhan TS capture utility or some other software that captures full TS files: http://www.twinhan.com/files/driver/...DA_1.0.0.6.zip

If the Twinhan utility cant lock the signal, GB-PVR is probably unable to aswell.

yes thats what i thought so. However as ashwin is also working on this issue i thought i will work on the other one... abt the crashing.. it happens a lot.. everytime i restart gbpvr it crashes in few changing of channels or pausing live tv

halcut Wrote:Here are the log files: logsIf you get this specific error, its worth checking GBPVRRecordingService.exe is listed in the task list. If its disappeared, then its possibly crashed for some reason. The only known error that can cause the recording service to die is a incompatibility with some firewall/antivirus software, and is described in the sticky 'v0.99.5 survival guide' thread (though it could be some other cause)

sub Wrote:What exactly happens? Do you get an error message? While changing channel I get microsoft error msg: GB-PVR has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenince. And asks for reporting the error to microsoft. when i click don't send it close gbpvr. Thanks sub.

That type of error typically means the crash has occurred in native code, rather than the managed code, which makes me suspect the decoders.
Do you still get this error if you change the video renderer and/or video decoder?

I have only installed nvidia pure video decoders. I m looking for another one on the net. Do you have any recommendation?
