You might need to try creating a new capture source when you do this so that previous "unknown" channels dont remain to confuse matters.

Thanks will try that.

Here is the log file. I believe I canceled it in the middle as I was getting many unknown channels. I will try again tomorrow if this is not of any use.

Can you tell me what frequency that last transport stream file was for? I want to compare with the config.exe.log for that same frequency.

Hello everyone --
Quick question and some praise for GB-PVR.

I am using this with DN and so far it works ok. It is still a little buggy and jumps a little, but I think that with some tinkering I can get rid of it. I am wondering if it is possible to pull down EPG data from the dvb stream. I am using a SS2 with bda drivers. I have tried obviously to select dvb stream as the EPG source and then to update it, which it looks like it does, but then I never actually see any epg data.

But overall with the amount of progress I have seen in such a short amount of time I am sure that these issues will be resolved shortly.

Also I thought that I might mention that it would probably be a good idea to not host the zip file with ffdesca in it on your actual servers. You should put it on a free file hosting service. I have seen many people shutdown over this file, and I would hate for this to happen to you.

Yeah, I agree. I just decided to include it for a few weeks after this initial release including multidec support to help people get started. I'll remove it from the archive soon, and just tell people they need it and have to find it themselves.

Shaky Wrote:Hi,

I think you said earlier you use Dish Pro LNB's? Is that the reason for the different LOF settings? I have a simple 4x1 diseqc with legacy Dish LNB's and haven't had much luck so far in GBPVR for multiple dish setup. Working fine in other software though so it must be something I am doing wrong or a lack of support in GBPVR.

I'm normally LOF1/LOF2 11250 and switch at 0. I've been reading on what LOF and switch frequencies actually correspond to and am still a bit confused but making some headway.

Anyway, I use the above settings and it works fine for one connected LNB, but I can't seem to get multiple LNB's to work with GBPVR right now. Perhaps the 0 switch setting I use has something to do with it? I would assume I use my normal LOF/switch setting and then select A/B/C/D for the LNB's connected to the corresponding Diseqc switch.

Thanks for any clues, I'm still reading lots so if I figure out what is wrong I'll post back too.
I'd be interested to know if the patch from http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=20 helps with your diseqc problem on the Twinhan device. They seem to have introduced a new method for controlling diseqc switches in the recent drivers. There is no indication whether the original method is still supported in these drivers (I'd hope so), but the patch at that URL uses the new method.

I had to switch to the Overlay Decoder to get rid of the glitches. I can use VMR9 on my PVR-250, but not the twinhan.

Interesting... I can't get the DVB to work on DN either right now, thought maybe it was my setup as I've been playing around quite a bit with channels.

Sub, I've attached logs of a fresh Scan of 119 and a DVB update. maybe you could have a look? This was all done after starting on a new/empty database. I only enabled 5 channels on 1 transponder to make things quicker. I get the channels showing up in the guide, but no show listings as mentioned above.

My problem went away after I changed my LOF/Switch settings so I believe it was user error. diseqc settings working fine. Smile

I'll put it on my list of things to look at, but I'm pretty snowed under, so probably wont get to it for a few days.
