Upgraded and got the same/similar problem. ITV1 2 and 3 c4 and film 4 missing EPG data (basically everything off mux 2, except E4 - note that an earlier post had E4, but not C4). I'd have to disagree with the now and next explanation because my patched 98.13 had full epg data for all these channels before the upgrade (i.e 5 minutes ago).
Also this would suggest that 99.5 has deleted the previous epg data (i.e. grabbed by 98.13) in the database file for these channels, even though an EPG update hasn't happened (unless of course it does this as part of the upgrade procedure).

edit. Ive recorded channel 4 transmission stream using the 'TS mux' option in config thought this may be of use to you (the transmission stream option still gives me 0kb files). I'll PM you a link....

Did you have full listing for this 'Film4 + 1' channel discussed on the previous page?

Thanks, but unfortunately I need a full Transport Stream, rather than the partial transport stream generated by the TS Mux option, which only has audio/video for the one channel rather than all channels and does have the service information such as the EPG info.

yup, all the uk channels have full epg data in my experience - and have all worked upto this version (bar the brief period of 98.13 caused by the data compression thingy). c5 sometimes has fewer days listed (which may explain one of the comments below), but certainly more than now/next
it's definately a new prob in 99.5 because I checked my guide in 98.13 just before i upgraded and all were 100%.

If you can supply some full transport stream files, I'm happy to take a look.

You wont be able to record a full transport stream file with GB-PVR. You'd need to use some other software.

I know what utilities to use with Twinhan cards etc, but not the Hauppauge ones. I know its possible though, since a few Nova-T users have done this for me in the past. Bgowland, what did you end up using last time you recorded me a transport stream file?

Hi all, user of all oh 1 day but thinking it was me who had done something wrong as I have been suffering with missing program listings for everything but E4.

I only decided yesterday to try out setting up a pvr yesterday and gbpvr seems to offer what I after.

From the word go the only tv listing I have had is E4, I have checked all that I can see and I can find nothing wrong everything seems to happen as it should.

I to am using a hauppauge Nova-T and the BLEB listing and have reloaded and checked several times with no joy.

Reading this thread I have to assume this may be an issue with the latest version of GBPVR, I would be gratefull if somebody could confirm this.

Thanks

Shaun

This is different to what is being discussed in this thread. Your problem is the BLEB option. There service has been broken recently and will be removed from GB-PVR as an option in the next release.

You need to either use the XMLTV or DVB EPG options. If you're using XMLTV, you can download Birtles XMLTV grabber from: http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/

I'm having a few problems downloading the transport stream file. I've had few goes at downloading it, each dying somewhere part way through. I'm having another go with a download manager now, so hopefully I'll be able to resume if it dies.
