I have a Cyberlink remote control that came with my ATI 550 pro. Since installing WinXP64 on my gaming/development machine I have lost the use of some of the buttons. I googled but can't seem to see how the r/c works. I have not found or installed any drivers for it but can't find out how Windows' uses it.

Any suggestions on what I could do to get all the buttons working?

Yip,

I have the same problem and I dont seem to get it working even with Girder... Or maybe I am not getting Girder to work as it should!

Dont bother with the MCE remotes if someone tells you to get one, they arent supported under XP x64 as the receiver has no driver support AT ALL! Believe me I have tried for the last month to hack it! Big Grin

You could just wait until Vista is supported with all of your hardware.

Just figured this out, it gets installed as a keyboard inside XP x64! So there you go... So again driver support sucks in x64!

Vista drivers wont work in X64 environment, I tried to use them from a Vista RTM to get around issue with MCE remote under XP x64... Wont even install.

Using the keymappings/showkey.exe utility I can see that the back button transmits a %Left command. Would assume this needs to be Escape
