just to update you all on this subject:

I had loads of problems getting my stick to work with all the usually can't find the device problems. Couldn't see what was wrong with it and then I realised, in the filtercheck, the device was called WinTV Nova-T Stick DVB-T Tuner not Nova-T Stick DVB-T Tuner!
