Composite input with two tuners

I have two tuners in two separate cards. One is an mce 150, and the other a pvr 150.
Call these tuner 0 and tuner 1. I have a composite input setup on the card that tuner 0 is on. This adds a third source called composite.
When I record on composite and try to watch live tv, I get a message stating no other tuner is available to watch live tv. Shouldn't I still have a tuner available?

Was the last channel view on live tv the composite channel? If so its probably trying to go back to the channel and not finding a capture source that can view it. Select a different channel from the tv guide screen.
