Have just installed a PVR350. Hauppauge WinTV 2000 works fine with both on-monitor and PVR's TV output.

When I run GBPVR it seems to recognise the board but there is no output, either on the monitor or the PVR TV-out.

The hardware decoder device is set to PVR 350 in "playback". On Win XP SP2 + .NET 1.1 and DirectX 9.0b.

Suggestions?

with GBPVR you will only get one or the other, but not both.

Have you set up all your channels etc ? what happens if you try to use LiveTV or play an mpeg file ?

are you using the drivers from the cd, or did you get the latest ones from shspvr.com. the drivers from hauppauge are nothing but trouble, stay away from them.

I have only set up one channel which is to S-video input, as my test rig isn't close to a broadcast aerial.

I can't use liveTv or play an mpeg as there is no visible "interface" to request either.

I was trying the ones from Hauppauge, but will try the others as you suggest - thanks for the tip.

Simple solution: The GBPVR icon did not appear in the start menu until I had rebooted - I didn't know it was there to use. All working fine.
