GBPVR uses wrong video resolution/bitrate and audio bitrate

Ok.

With the Emuzed Maui III, GBPVR uses a different video bitrate and resolution contrary to what I've chosen. For example, i set the video bitrate to 2.2 Mb, resolution to 352 x 480 and the audio to 160k. Instead the video resolution is 720 x 480, video bitrate = 2.0Mb and sound bitrate= 224k.Also, the audio bitrate is 224k instead of 160k. In the past, I've only had problems with only the audio bitrate with my pvr150 card. Could the direct.ini emuzed maui iii filter be responsible for this or is there something else?

The video bitrate should be correct, but its unable to change the resolution or audio bitrate with the Emuzed Maui cards. The video resolution is fixed at either 720x480 for NTSC or 720x576 for PAL, and whatever the default audio bitrate is for these cards.

I'm having the same trouble with my ATI Wonder Elite (i.e. only can record at 720x480 NTSC). Is this the video resolution I'm stuck with?

You could test if setting the
INIT_MODE=
in direct.ini to IVAC lets you change the resolution.

I know it helped my card control the reso / bitrate.

There was a patch posted here somewhere a couple of weeks back which would allow the resolution to be changed. It'll also be included in the next release.
