Toggle OSD Display On/Off Live TV w/ Remote

Here's how to toggle the OSD on and off when surfing live tv channels. I've got "minimal OSD during playback" checked in the config.
Using the Hauppauge 45 key remote:

Toggle OSD off: Green Yellow OK
Toggle OSD on: Green OK

Was looking for a post on how to do this and no dice, so I added this one.
