No, nothing else has changed, at least in terms of network connections.

Just installed the latest version from Sub.

Did anyone have a look at the logs?

I was having problems with my MVP stuttering, pausing and crashing. I put a network analyzer my LAN and found that both my MVP's were transmitting framing errors. I changed my PC's NIC to half-duplex and the framing errors disappeared.

My MVP's work great. No crashing, no pauses and no stuttering.

I was having the same error as fmanji so thought I would give this a try. I changed the NIC stting from 'auto' to '100mbs/half duplex' with the result I could only have slow motion videos on the MVP! :o
I then realised my mistake and reset it to '10mbs/half duplex' and it is now working smoothly. I'll let you know whether it overcomes the problem of the MVP periodically losing its connection.

I've been running my MVP now for over a week with the NIC on the computer set to 10mbs and half duplex. So far I haven't had any of the problems I was experiencing before such as 3 crashes/disconnections in one evening. I also find that the MVP remote is far more responsive than before with the delay scrolling through the TV Guide now negligible. Is this a solution for all those who complain of sluggish remotes?

PS Perhaps this thread should be in the MVP section?

Cheers that's a top tip... is there an equivalent for wireless. My setup is wireless g 108 from server to router then wired 100 to mvp, cheers
