I live in Australia, and our HD channens have problems with GBPVR. But sub mentioned somewhere that adding (AC3) after eng in the tuning line fixes it. And it did in the previous version, but it doesn't work now that I have upgraded to the latest version.

Is there a new suffix to the L: tuning parameter? Or have the channels changed at the same time?

Thanks

Edit: I didn't mention the problem, but the audio thinks it isn't AC3 when it really is, so the sound comes out corrupted (clicks and beeps, etc)

I wasnt aware of any current problems with HD channels in Australia. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs ans I'll take a look.

To 'reproduce' the problem. I retuned the channels, restarted recording service, tried to liveTV 'Nine HD' twice, closed GBPVR.

It doesn't do the 'clicking' now, but now it doesn't even load up the ffdshow audio decoder (The icon usually comes up in the task bar). SD channels work prefectly, and the config.exe seems to indicate that the AC3 stream is identified.

In the version previous, I had it working by adding the (AC3) to the appropriate channels.

Thankyou

Its not immediately clear to me what is happening, but I've made a few minor changes in that area of my code so its a little difficult to remember exactly what it was doing before.

Can you try scanning a remapping with the attached patch? It might be easiest to drop and recreate your capture source to be sure you've picked up the new mappings.

If it doesnt work for you, zip and attach the logs again and I'll take another look.

Oddly, I can listen to the channel in Config.exe (It says it is receiving AC3), but no noise or ffdshow icon when in GBPVR.

I deleted the source and everything. SD channels work as usual.

I just tried loading 7SD and changing channel to NineHD, the ffdshow icon stays up, but it thinks it is receiving no audio input.

Sorry for the slow response. I hadnt forgotten.

Is the problem both when watching live tv and when playing back recordings? for playing recordings, you may find it varies between playing an in-progress recording, and one that has finished recording. Can you let me know for each of those scenarios, and maybe provide logs for each that doesnt do AC3?
