Thismorning I attempted to enable the TV Listing plugin. Since then I have been getting the same message every time I try to watch live TV, and most of the time when I try to record. It is "Failed to locate configured Capture device". I have un-enabled the TV listing plugin but have not removed since I do not know how. Also I don't know for sure if it is the culprit. I notice this problem after enabling the plugin but who knows?
Right now GBpvr tells me that it is recording but I do not know how to tell that it is. If I hit Live TV, I get an error tht there is no tuner available and that I can only watch the program I am recording. However hitting the Live TV button just gets me the same message.

Any ideas how to get rid of this problem? I am running 99.5 and I zipped all of my logs into the attached file. Iam attempting to configure ATI's Wonder 650, and had it running fairly well until this notice popped up.

It looks like the channel mappings havnt been done correctly, or have been removed or something. Try clicking the 'map digital channels to EPG channels' button and make sure all the channels are mapped.

When I pressed the button, I got a message that is in two parts. first is
"Unhandled exception has occurred in yourapplication. If youclick continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue". I Clicked this button (to no avail) after reading the second partwhich is
"The process cannot access the file c\program file\devnz\gbpvr\BDA\Scan-2.cache because it is being used by another process" I would guess that this process has something to do with the TV Listing plugin that I was attmepting to enable
Pressing details yields

ee the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi jackk,

I've also replied in another of the threads where you have reported your problem, and it seems that you already got the answer by sub here that your capture source hadn't been set up completely.

Sorry for asking this - have you tried to restart your computer?

After being told by two different people that I was having trouble with the HD capture device, I removed it from the config file, restarted the computer and restarted GBPVR. Still got the same message...couldn't find a path to the tuner.
I then went back to CAtalyst, the program that came with the tuner card and tried to play and record through that program...no luck!! Not a problem with GBPVR.
I un-installed all of the ATI software, and only loaded some older drivers. Did not load CAtalyst. The newest drivers will not load on my computer, but fortunately, ATI lists all of its versions of drivers. Restarted GBPVR and it works beautifully.
Now my problem with ATI is that the output from the HD side of the board is very weak, even though the signal going is is strong. May have to return it and try the new Hauppage dual tuner board. Looks like a new thread!

Thanks for all the support I got for this problem. You guys are great!
