I currently am running GBPVR with the Hauppauge PVR 350 and just displaying the app on a computer monitor for now. I have configured the channels etc and when I choose "Live TV" in GBPVR it just notes it is using the TVOUT and no TV is shown. I assume that it would show live TV like WinTV2000 does on my monitor though.

Once I get the S-video hooked up to my TV I hope the PVR 350's TVOUT works to that as well.

I have read a number of threads about issues with the PVR 350's TVOUT but I didn't find anything mentioned with the GBPVR about it not working. I ideally would like not to have to buy another video card with S-Video to support displaying to my TV.

Can anyone point me to some good info on the PVR 350 and GBPVR configuration specifically using the TVOUT on the PVR350's card? Thanks.

If you configure GB-PVR to use the PVR350 hardware decoder, then all output goes to the TV out on the PVR-350. If you need it to go to your PC monitor through your regular graphics card, you must set the hardware decoder option to 'none - use software decoder'.

Thanks 'santa'. I am all setup now with PVR 350 and I have played with the settings you noted above. Right now I have a the Audio L/R RCA cables heading out from the PVR 350 directly into my TV Audio L/R RCA in. I also have the yellow composite video out from the PVR 350 going directly into my TV video in. So with that and the GVB-PVR configured to PVR 350 Hardware decoder for playback it still is not showing on my TV. I do hear sound though. I only have a S-Video, Aux/VCR and Antenna input on my TV so in this case Aux should be showing it.

Could there be an issue with composite where I should instead use the S-video out from the PVR-350? As of right now GB-PVR just notes the video is playing to my TV-Out when viewed on my monitor. I would like to control GB-PVR with my Hauppauge remote but viewing it all full screen on my TV and no monitor. I can access my PVR desktop via Remote Desktop when necessary anyway from another machine. Make sense? Ideas? Thanks...
