I'm nearly at my wits end here.

Im using hip and Im pretty certain it working correctly. Im able to control GBPVR with my MCE remote but my remote wont control my STB. While watching LIVE tv and I try to change the channel I can see the OSD channels #'s changing but the STB box does not respond. I've gone through the tutorials to set up HIP and Im fairly certain i did it correctly. When i change the channels on my MCE remote the Blaster lights up like it's suppose to. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Sorry, I've never used HIP so I'm not in a good position to help you with this one.

Does HIP have mechanism for testing the IR blaster channel changing? If so, does it work this way (ie, indepentently of GB-PVR)?

No,I dont think so for that function. However, there is a test to confirm that codes have be entered correctly into hip and those seem to be fine.

Actually it does have a screen to test IR...

Under the add/edit IR commands, you can select a command and then 'Test IR'. You'll be able to try either or both of the IR ports....

If you are not even seeing a red flashing light from the IR blaster bud, then you're having hardware trouble...

I used to ask 'why?' Now I just reinstall...

Yes, sorry. That is the test I was talking about. I tested them and I'd hear a "chirp" come from the receive and the blaster lit up.
Ive tested 0 - 9 and all seem fine.

And I am using teh .exe changer plug in with the parameter set as : {channel}

Maybe im totally over looking something. Here's some screen shots. Maybe something doesn't look right. Also, does the image with the red PAINT circle seem to be correct?
