I'd say you're out of luck. GBPVR only supports harware encoding cards (such as the leadtek pvr2000), and as I understand it the winfast card does not have this ability.
I'm not always right

That's funny. I got the same assertion failing using my PVR-150. Any ideas?

I have the same error message too!
After removing the pvr350 and replacing it by a pvr150 this errormessage spoils the fun. Whe i acces the other pvr card in my computer (a pvr250) everything works perfect. So it has to do with the pvr150.

Anyone who can help?

Did you set the device number approriately? Its hard to predict which order they will be, but one device will be #1, the other will be #2.

I have removed the pvr250 to test without it. So only a pvr150 and the problem is nog gone. Also when i make a recording with only the pvr150 then gbpvr creates a directory with the recordingname and nothing others happens. So no file/no recording.

Put both cards. Try to configure them both. Try both combinations:

PVR-150 = device #1. PVR-250 = device #2.
PVR-150 = device #2. PVR-250 = device #1.

Start a recording, then start Live TV.

Email your logs to me at support@devnz.com with a details description of what you tried and the order your did it in.

Thanks Sub, thursday-afternoon local time (when i'm back home) i'll install both cards and try things out and after that i'll send you the logs. the machine is now running with only the pvr250 card...........
by the way... when both cards are installed wintv2000 only uses the first card (in my case the pvr250). is there a way to test the other (pvr150) card with wintv2000 without removing the first (pvr250) card? just in case to double check everything...? yeah I know i can switch them fysical but than i have to re-install the drivers...

Hi!

I`m new to GB-PVR and I receive exactly the same error message like Bangs, who startet the post... and I´m using a leadtek pvr2000 card!

What did I do wrong? I would really like to know, because this piece of software seems to be exactly what I was looking for!

Pleas help...
