I need to make a connection from a VCR to the PVR150 composite input. What should the settings be for a source without EPG and Channel Changing? The Add button is never enabled.

are you configured as a client?
I am pretty sure the configuration would be to add the capture source, source composite, no channel changer, I think you have to add one channel to be able to use it, any random channel should work.

No, there is only this one GBPVR.
I thought about mapping any random channel to the composite input, but there's no EPG. I suppose I can make a dummy Zap2It account selecting only the channel # I want to use, but is there a easier method?

I had to actually 'OK' out of the config app after setting up a capture source with composite.
Then the Add button was enabled.

Thanks for the help. Exiting the config app does enable the Add button. Now the problem is, I can't select it under "TV Guide" becuase there's no EPG information. Any suggestion?

Interesting behavior. :-) Fortunately, I only have a few tapes I need to dub.
Thank you so much for your help.

If you dont have tv listings for the this channel, then of course you wont see any shows listed for it in the TV Guide.

There shouldn't be any show listing, but don't you think there should be some indication no EPG is available and still allow the user to select that channel through "TV Guide" mode?
I notice this as well with some of my satellite channels. Zap2It every so often loses EPG information on certain channels making it inaccessible from the "TV Guide".

Its never bothered me. I'm quite happy with the current approach. (but I only use the TV Guide for scheduling recordings from show listings, not for switching channels)
