sub,

I had a similar problem with this using the TV Listing plugin. I use the I-xmltv plugin for my EPG data. But I have it automatically download the XML data through GBPVR, and then I have a UpdateEPG.bat file process the XML data.

I was trying to set up a reoccuring recording for I Love Lucy. The reoccuring listings showed up as a different show, and the pending showed the correct ones. I somehow got it working. I did do a complete EPG update and I think that is what fixed it.

I also noticed that not all of my Mythbusters shows were recording, even though they weren't duplicates. So in testing I unchecked the "don't record duplicates" from the misc. tab, and they all started recording.

I'm also using the SQLite database, but like I said, I got it working.

Just thought I'd let you know so maybe it can help you out.

To be honest, there probably isnt much I can do about this. You'd need to post the details of the problem in 'plugin and skin' support forum so Alibert can take a look.

From what I can tell, when the TV Listings plugin schedules a recording, its passing the correct channel number and start/end times, but sometime passing the incorrect program identifer. The means the correct recording is done, but when the user tries to view the details in the Recordings screen they're shown some unexpected show info.

sub, I do not use any plugins or skins (besides Weather plugin), and I update the EPG using the config tool and click on 'Update EPG' to get data from zap2it.

Maybe I have a very long guide downloaded? (I am using download 14 days worth of programs).

Basically I just use the basic GBPVR functionality to get EPG from zap2it and use normal built in TV Guide.

What is the best way to go forward?
Empty EGP? (I do not know what that means. Is it deleting all programs info including recording shcedules?)

or maybe I should delete my source all together and add a new source?

Thanks a lot for the support sub.

Do you have an UpdateEPG.bat file?

That shouldnt cause it.

A corrupt database might cause this.

We need to try to collect some more info about when exactly the problem occurs. If you schedule a recording from the TV Guide, then go to the recordings screen and view the details in the pending list, are the details correct? If they are, at what later point do they become incorrect - is it after the next EPG update, or after the recording starts, or after the recording completes, or something else?

I do not have any 'UpdateEPG.bat' unless it comes with gbpvr normal install (in other words, I did not do or create any bat file or anyting fancy. I did not change anything from initial install besides downloading the weather plugin).

I can see a corrupt database, because I remebr I did shutdown the PC forcefully (though power buttom, not normal shutdown) but I do not remebr if that was before or after installing gbpvr (I was messing with video card drivers ...etc.).

What is the best way to clear everything 100%? Delete the source and re-create it?
I want to start over again and see if the problem will happen again?

The easiest way to do this is to stop GB-PVR, then delete the gbpvr.db3, then run the config app and it'll create you a new empty database.

I think for me it might of been that I was changing the channel line up that cuased this I had to put freq in for all of my channels. I have not seen this happen again so it must have gotten flushed out and taken care of itself.
