Play intro before movie starts?

Hi all, I've been using GBPVR in a very limited way (basically just recording TV shows) for a few months, but have a question about what I assume would be a little more difficult.

I have some movie intros that would be cool to have automatically play before a movie starts. The intros are things like THX trailers, "Welcome to our theater" slideshows (made into a WMV), etc.

Is there a plug-in or script or something to automatically run a program or play a video when you select to start a DVD, and then start the movie when it finishes?

I'm not a programmer by any means, so I wouldn't even know where to begin to make this myself.

There is no built in mechanism for doing this.

From memory the MyVideos plugin offered this feature.

Yep, it sure did. Unfortunately it looks like that plug-in doesn't work in the latest version of GBPVR.

Sounds like an opportunity for a new plug-in!

There is a newer version "MyVideos5ReleaseCandidate3" that works with the new version of GBPVR(99.5). That is the last version I know of and it is no longer being developed. I use it, alothough not for intros and it works fine.

Where can I find that version? On the GBPVR wiki all I see is version 4.1.

Why it is not updated in the wiki?
Just curious, as the wiki seems old now and not updated.

Maybe we need more volunteers to take care of it?

reven didnt want the lastest versions updated on the wiki. I dont know why, but its all history now since he no longer works on these plugins.

Since the author no longer develops it I do not think he wants it posted or he would have done so himself. The beta was only avaliable from his web site and has removed it.
