Radio with the Hauppauge WinTV 878/9 WDM Card

Hi together,
i have a MediaMVP from Hauppauge and the gbpvr Software on my PC. On the PC i have a Hauppauge WinTV 878/9 WDM Card with Radio Tuner.
In the Config File i can´t find my Card and if i try to use other cards it doesn´t work.
Please help me to configure my PC that i can hear Radio on my TV with my PC.

Sorry, but the radio support will only work with compatible video capture cards like the Hauppauge PVR150 etc.

Sure ? Oh fu.. !! I don´t like to buy another card. Is their really no other way ? Maybe with a plugin ?

Not that I can think of, but someone else may have some ideas for you.

you'll have to install winamp and shoutcast server, connect the audio from the radio card to your sound card and then stream it to the mvp using netradio/ubradio etc.

your only problem is changing FM stations, you'll have to go into its some other application that can do that, not GBPVR.

Not sure if you can re-program a key on the MVP to send some "cmd" that maybe something like Girder can pickup and change channel for you.
