I think you'll find its something to do with Vista's localstore technology that stops the user from modifying files in system directories. The modified copy will probably be under the 'my document\localstore' or something like that.

arr ook, that was an odd problem, with that sorted, i still have the same problem...

See my comment above. I'm guessing the updates are occuring to a file thats not being used due to vista's file protection.

And i tested it editing it too see if it would work, with MCE, if i changed a button around and it did, so any ideas???
