I have a hauppauge WinTV-PVR-PCI which is not supported by GB-PVR (I wish is was....). I currently am using GB-PVR as a replacement for the Media MVP server, and absolutely love it. It is amazing! My GB-PVR server is my main PC in the basement of my house, and the MVP is in my family room wired via ethernet through router-switch.. I have the Picture ,Weather (with 3 zipcodes),Theater (with a seperate button linked to refresh listings),Solitare, and Comics plugins.

I have been using TitanTV to select shows to record on my PVR card, and it works fine. But now, I can view the TV Listings right at my TV upstairs, and I would love to be able to select <Record> and add it to the scheduler.

Or if I could view the TitanTV "Big Screen" listings on the GB-PVR and select from there, that might work also.

Sorry, you easiest option is probably to ebay the old WinTV-PVR-PCI and pick up a PVR150.

That is my plan. But I am stumped as to what to buy. 150MCE is the obvious choice, since I don't require the remote. I also would like to move my Digital Cable box to the basement with the Tuner Card, and have it to record the digital channels.

So my second question would be haw advanced is GB-PVR for that. I would need to record 1-99 via tuner and 101- via A/V jacks, and either tune the box manually, or via a remote controlled by the PC.

Also what is the correct forum to discuss the Pictures Plugin? (mainly zoom and aspect ration issues)

Yes, I have Comcast. Right now, I do have a cable going right into the WinTV-PVR-PCI card, and use it for recording up to channel 99. But if I want to record off of a higher channel, or On Demand, I have to bring the box down to my PC and hook it up and manually tune/record. I would prefer to leave it there and do it all remotely from the family room.
I am still very impressed with the quality of the picture. I don't beleive my Cable box has a serial port, I'll look now.
