First of all, Sub, thanks for activating my account.

I’ve noticed that someone else here is posting a similar problem with the ATI card, but I would like to get to the solution a little bit faster.

I have 2 DVR cards – the ATI HD-650 and the Hauppauge 2250. Both of them work fine with Windows Media Center. I can receive both analog and digital channels with no problem. My OS is Win7-32 bit Pro. I've tried them with the drivers off the installation CDs, and the latest Win7 drivers from their respective sites.

At first, I tried the ATI card with GB_PVR. I was able to get the analog channels OK, but when I tried to get the digital channels, I had no luck. I then switched over to the Hauppauge card and was not able to get either the analog or digital channels. Right now I’m concentrating on the digital channels with the Hauppauge card. I followed the “Configuring OTA ATSC HD Channels (USA)” guide that was posted here as a guide (and other guides). The Digital Source is set for Hauppauge 2250 (QAM), and the Device Number is set to 1. Cable Frequencies is set to Default custom (I’ve changed this to every other possibility but still nothing). I’ve tried both standard and HRC frequencies.

I’m pretty sure I’m downloading the channel lineup OK. I’ve used both Microsoft Legacy and Schedules Direct, and they both load about 350 channels – which appear to be correct. I do know that there are about 15 HD channels that are unscrambled. Comcast is my provider. The problem comes in when I “Map Digital Channels to EPG Channels.” It says it’s scanning 158 channels but “No Channels Found. Please Check Your Signal and Configuration Settings.” All channels were enabled before I did this, and yes, the cable is connected.

I’ve tried pretty much all the suggestions I could find here – deleting the HyperStore Devnz folder, enabling 3 files for the firewall, re-running certain BAT files, extending login times – but no success.

I’m including the config.exe.log, config.exe-native.log, and filtercheck.log files. I do notice some errors, but don’t know how to correct them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some users have had problems scanning when they have the 'Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder' decoder selected. I dont know why this happens, but I see you have this decoder selected. Try a differnet decoder.

Are you referring to the selection under the "Playback" tab? It is set to "system default." I'll play around with different options tonight.

Yes, but it definitely looked like it was set to 'Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder' in the previous config.exe-native.log.

Thanks, Sub! That was the problem. The video decoder was set to the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder. I changed it back to the default and I now get the digital channels. Thanks again.
