xrecord shows all channels in guide, can't remove channels from list

I run the GB-PVR config tool and tried changing the settings for the xguide plugin to exclude certain channels, as well as unchecking channels from the Channels tab. I'm not sure what the Channels tab is for, but neither one affects what channels are listed when I hit the Guide button.

Any idea on how to fix this?
