Ok. I'm not so concerned about this one then, but will try to fix before the release if I get a chance.

Quote:for the TV guide, I am displaying 3 hours of guide data, not 2, and i can easily reproduce by switching between displaying 2 and 3 hours in the guide.
Ah, that makes it easier to reproduce. I've fixed this for the next release.

glad i could help, sorry for that missing information. damn the devil for always hiding in those details :p.

now if I could just figure out what my EPG decides to stop updating semi-randomly. I would post logs in a new thread... but opening and closing the config app made me loose my log from when it happened Sad

I know that when it happened before (and I was away for 3 weeks Sad) it scheduled a EPG update, woke up for it, said the epg would update soon, and then never updated. seems like the computer went to sleep before the EPG update, and it never rescheduled the wake up event, so it was waiting for 3AM december 24th... in january

ok so it seems this issue is fixed... kinda.

it apparently gets really upset around midnight.

if the timeline spans midnight, nothing after midnight will be highlighted. I think that should be enough to reproduce, but if you need more information, let me know

I've also the highlight missing in the timeline in some circumstances.

Two screendumps - same show, display time shifted.

Is there a reliable set of steps to reproduce it?

A few people have reported this in the past, but I was never able to get it to do it here.

it was pretty simple to reproduce, try setting your guide time span to 3 hours or more then set a show to record from 12-1. its generally easier to reproduce when the guide starts on the half hour.

I think it happens quite often for me with recordings that cross midnight and when the TV guide is at a half-hour on the left hand edge.
Tomorrow I'll try to install a bare system with a tiny EPG to reproduce it.

any luck reproducing it? I was never able to not reproduce the problem when the view of the guide met these conditions. data spanning two days, and a recording after midnight.

I was always able to reproduce this problem by creating a recording which starts at midnight, and viewing the guide where it spans midnight (11-1) the show is not highlighted.
