I use SlimmGBPVR tray icon to launch GBPVR, it loads up, I can make it crash by selecting Exit right away. Sometimes it will crash after a few minutes of sitting at the main menu and then clicking Exit. Nothing is recording or being watched.

Screenshots and logs attached. I'm using 0.99.12, same thing happened on 0.99.05.

The last thing that happens in your gbpvr.exe.log has something to do with vapanel. Did you try the suggestion about plugins here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16767 ?

Just verified that it doesn't happen when plugins are Disabled in config app, but crashes when plugins are Enabled but none of them, except Exit, are checked. I left Exit checked because it was my quick way to exit once the UI appeared.

Launch GB-PVR then exit as soon as you can.

So it's one of the plugins, then? I guess all you can do is to pop them back in one at a time and see if you can find out which one is causing the grief.

I think I've seen this before, it has to do with gbpvr still reading the data for the guide etc. and being closed while doing that.

I enabled plugins, but I unchecked every single one except Exit. htV is probably right, guide data is being loaded and I exit. Can this be fixed?

I'm confused. You need to remove the plugins dlls from the plugins directory for you to be sure they are not loaded. If you do that, does gbpvr still crash? And you also said that gbpvr crashes while just sitting doing nothing, not just when you exit immediately.

I missed that one.:o

I think I would try a .Net2 repair install.

make sure your config.xml file is still valid and is not corrupted if it is just remove it from the dir and GBPVR will create a new one that you will have to make settings changes to again.

This has been known problem ever since we switch to SQLite early last year. If you start GB-PVR, then exit before the TV Guide finishes loading in the background, then you'll get this error.

One day I'll get around to looking at it.
