Nothing springs to mind, but what software are you using to do the conversion?

Did you use a good splitter for the 2 150's? Could just make the difference, maybe the 350 had a better tuner. You might try without the splitter with just one 150 connected, just to see if it's improving things.

Ok.
Did you try to raise the bitrate of the recording?

Do the original MPEG-2 recordings look fine when watched in GB-PVR? If so, then is sounds like something funny that Divx Video Duplicator is doing when it does the conversion. It might be worth asking the author of that utility to take a look at one of your sample files.

My I make a suggestion if you have S-Video you can use, please use it composite video is the worst signal know to man it has been around since the days of Tandy computers..Rolleyes My MVP had both and I switched to S-Video and all my fuzzy screens went away. Also I compress my DIVX to half the size of my mpeg recording example MPEG for a High recording 2 hours movie are 3.86 gig and I convert it to 1.99 gigs, done a lot of testing to get the balance of compression and video quality "trial and error is all I can say" Big Grin. I have a PVR 150 and PVR 500 in my system and I have to say that the PVR 500 does a better job recording then the PVR 150 with a good splitter 1Ghz not the cheap 900Mhz one. Hope this helps..Smile

No you can see that it is less qality in this parts on the mpeg to its unsharp and bad focus

but i starts thinking that it is somyhing wrong in the mpeg file info but i dont know what i have install the driver and the reg patch for timestamps but no change at all

there is another thing that get me to think it is some info error, if i convert to divx in 1pass and the output file is 450mb the prosess works but if i go to a
2pass and the first pass read the file and looks on the quality writes a logfile of it (so far it works) but then the next pass starts and write the output file the size of that finish movie is only 80-90mb and and almost still pictures but the time info is the same as on the input movie

if i take a old file recorded on the pvr350 card or a ripped dvd the 2pass works perfect

is the happauge aware of the timestamp error in the 150mce cards ?
maby i try to left them back and buy 2 other cards but which modell ?

i only use it to record from satboxes
